To generate text to speech, Voxabot needs to be connected to a TTS engine. The first time you sign in with Google, Voxabot provides connections with the following TTS engines:
● AWS Polly TTS (Amazon)
● GCP Cloud TTS (Google)
● Azure Speech TTS(Microsoft)
Initially you are entitled to convert 20000 characters to speech (approximately 10 minutes of audio) for free. After that, you will need to buy credits ($ 15 for 100 000 characters).
Alternatively, if you do not want to use Voxabot connections you can connect to the TTS engines using your own API credentials for AWS Polly TTS (Amazon), GCP Cloud TTS (Google) or Azure Speech TTS (Microsoft).
If you do not want to purchase credits for generating TTS, you can use your own API credentials for AWS Polly TTS (Amazon), GCP Cloud TTS(Google) or Azure Speech TTS (Microsoft).
Add your own credentials in the dialog box Add Client Keys. Next to Name type a name that is meaningful for you, select the TTS provider for which you want to apply, and then enter your API credentials for the selected TTS provider.
